In some respects, Sweden was an enabler of Nazi Germany. They sold Germany high-grade iron ore, iron necessary to make tank and ship steel. This trade probably prolonged the war. Sweden also permitted German units in Norway to cross Sweden on the way to Finland.
On the other hand, neutral Sweden was in a bind, surrounded on all sides by the Axis. So they had to be careful.
What’s my point? I wonder if there’s a bit of lingering moral guilt there. And the Swedes are trying to assuage that guilt by admitting poor, helpless Muslim jihadists.
I wish the Swedes felt that way about the Poles they conquered, and helped to make it that Poland didn’t even exist from 1795-1918, maybe Poland should demand reparations from Sweden.
Sweden has long had a generalized White guilt. It comes from years of socialist rule. The guilt or shame they feel over WWII is mostly directed at rich industrialists, bankers, and aristocrats. Swedes may blame their country for wartime collaboration — it’s what they have instead of colonial guilt — but I doubt its a burning guilt or shame or the reason for why they do what they do.

I don’t see it as a national problem, since it’s more like all of Western and Central Europe. Too much of a coincidence. I think it is that the Elites are convinced that the behavior of Western Society in the 20th century led to horrific suffering of both themselves (through wars) and others (through colonialism).
So they are following in the steps of Dr. Daystrom’s computer, and rather than simply ‘checking out’ at some ‘health clinic’ in the Netherlands, they are making damn sure that the CULTURE (meaning White people) gets destroyed too.
