Jim Jordan is no doubt aware of the dangers of making a rash move when the rinos could take the side of the dims, as they have done recently on other matters, and destroy Trump’s chances.
I am a far right conservative but I also recognize the dangers. Ordinarily I zm for immediate action but there are times when what appears to be an opportunity is what aviators call a sucker hole.
If possible, I think it better to wreck the DOJ, FBI, EPA and the Education Department and thus tie the hands of the Biden (criminal) gang so they are powerless until the 2024 election.
The budget was/is the immediate tool for that.
If Kamala became POTUS who knows who gets to be Veep. It’s better to keep digging and use this in the upcoming election cycle. Garland is a different matter and, again, keep digging.
Newsom is salivating to be POTUS but the house and senate have to vote on a VP vacancy and the constitution suggests it’s a simple majority. We have a thin margin in the house so we might get a compromise candidate instead of someone like Newsom.
Dems are supposedly sending emails suggesting Joe will nominate Michelle to SCOTUS next.
It is not a waste of time to expose to the entire nation just how corrupt the Biden family is and by extension the Democrat Party in DC. But of course the Republicans are once again the "can't we all just get along" party. Thoroughly useless. Jim Jordan has no balls, he is just another DC hack. I hope he catches hell then he goes home on the Aug break.
The Clinton’s impeachment was over a “blow job”. Very bad move by Newt, his career never recovered.

We know what’s wrong with McCarthy. He’s a RINO. But Jordan’s stance is logical here. I find no issue with what he said.
The voters have shown opposite reaction to impeachments. B.J. Clinton won bigger after impeachment attempt.
This is the best analysis.
Look at B.J. Clinton example. He won in a landslide after impeachment attempt. Trump loss in 2020 had more to do with mean tweets and saying in spring 2020 that “this china virus is just another flu and will die away when hot weather arrives”. Add to that Biden hiding in basement wearing a burqa which low info voters construed as Biden taking covid more seriously.
GOP tried it on blow job Clinton and he got re-elected by BIGGER landslide.

Clinton had already won re-election in 1996 when he was impeached in 1998.
Republicans lost some House seats and gained nothing in the Senate during the Midterms.
