The thing is had Clinton been impeached and removed, we would have been stuck with President Algore until at least 2004.

Impeaching a President over having an affair is just really stupid. Voters don’t like really stupid. Besides Clinton was an OK president, thanks to Newt keeping him on the reservation.

You don’t need any evidence of corruption. The RATs didn’t have any “evidence of corruption” and they impeached President Trump twice already. Just go ahead and impeach the pedophile b******.

Waste of time to impeach in house, then senate will reject 100%. GOP tried it on blow job Clinton and he got re-elected by BIGGER landslide.

Focus effort on productive channels. Fools waste energy on useless matters.

GOP should focus on election reforms.

It’s not just about removal. It’s about hamstringing your political opponents agenda and fighting for every inch of the political battlefield 24/7/365. That’s how Democrats operate. GOP just isn’t interested in putting in the work required to do that. Not now. Not ever.

Actual impeachment in 1998, but talk about it was prevalent in 1996.

So the saying goes “ The Democrats are lawless because the Republicans are BALLLESS”

What is the point of voting for an opposition party that does nothing to oppose.

The same old GOP, nothing changes.

"What the hell is wrong with him and McCarthy? "

They're career politicians. If a Republican isn't a Rino when they're elected, if they stay in Washington long enough, they eventually become one.

They never had the votes in the Senate & making Gore an incumbent President would of been a bad political move.

I don’t care if they eventually impeach Biden, but no impeachment in US history has removed a President.(Nixon resigned or he might have been the first.)
I’m more inclined to let elections decide, plus we have the 22nd Amendment which limits the amount of time a person can hold the Presidency.

There is no way Biden will be impeached with the senate not having our control or 67 votes.

Gee, maybe we should of just made up fake evidence, had the main stream media pounded it every day and then maybe they would Impeach......

Because Democrats come prepared. The republicans have had many hearings but the democrats on the committees push back on every witness they’ve brought. They seem to forget the receipts need to be verified. The media has said the hearings are a circus? Why? Lack of preparation.

Sounds like he is lining up witnesses for a great August of hearings.

The House could still impeach, but as you note, getting a conviction in the Senate is a pipe dream.

Also, if Biden’s scandals can’t make it into the MSN the hurdle only gets bigger for impeachment minded Republicans.
The media will flip the script and put House Republicans on trial in the court of public opinion.

People need to stop listening to their speeches, and look at their donors.

When Jim “Big Tech” Jprdan finally retires and gets a job at Facebook or google, there will be a buch of Freepers who:

“But his speeches were so conservative. He was such a strong defender of the rule of Law and the Constitution !”

Overthinking this stuff until you talk yourself out of not doing the right thing.

And actually not doing anything.

If they don’t impeach this guy, the House is saying “We don’t think he did anything wrong.”

They have validated his corruption.

Who cares what the Senate does, or who the Democrat nominee is ? Play it straight with no tricks ! Do the right thing, and let the chips fall !

(BTW, Gore was defeated after Clinton was impeached. And distancing/not distancing from Clinton was an issue in the campaign)

True. If he remains in, one year from now he’ll be even more beatable. Let him hang on. It’ll take many years to recover from the damage, but folks need to see it to wake up.

Holding politicians accountable for their crimes is damned hard work ... it gets in the way of the primary objective of politicians — a task more important than anything else could ever be ... getting re-elected.
