They never had the votes in the Senate & making Gore an incumbent President would of been a bad political move.
I don’t care if they eventually impeach Biden, but no impeachment in US history has removed a President.(Nixon resigned or he might have been the first.)
I’m more inclined to let elections decide, plus we have the 22nd Amendment which limits the amount of time a person can hold the Presidency.

Because Democrats come prepared. The republicans have had many hearings but the democrats on the committees push back on every witness they’ve brought. They seem to forget the receipts need to be verified. The media has said the hearings are a circus? Why? Lack of preparation.
Sounds like he is lining up witnesses for a great August of hearings.

The House could still impeach, but as you note, getting a conviction in the Senate is a pipe dream.
Also, if Biden’s scandals can’t make it into the MSN the hurdle only gets bigger for impeachment minded Republicans.
The media will flip the script and put House Republicans on trial in the court of public opinion.
People need to stop listening to their speeches, and look at their donors.

(BTW, Gore was defeated after Clinton was impeached. And distancing/not distancing from Clinton was an issue in the campaign)
True. If he remains in, one year from now he’ll be even more beatable. Let him hang on. It’ll take many years to recover from the damage, but folks need to see it to wake up.
Holding politicians accountable for their crimes is damned hard work ... it gets in the way of the primary objective of politicians — a task more important than anything else could ever be ... getting re-elected.
