Yeah, that was the end of the big free festivals. In the movie, "Gimmed Shelter" it shows one lone black man raising his gun towards the stage and an HA stabbed him to death. Hate to give credit to those uncontrolled outlaws, but the HA probably saved Jagger's or Richard's lives. I don't know about any other deaths.

I've always wondered who hired the Hells Angels for security. They were all over the stage from the beginning and below pushing and beating fans in front. They even threatened someone in the Jefferson Airplane - the band quit playing and walked off. Someone knocked over one of their bikes up front and he was badly beaten It was just one big cluster frig.

During the Stones set, it shows Jagger stopping one of their hits and pleading for the violence to stop. Not sure, but I think they cut their set short, also. Don't bother to watch it. It's depressing.

Wow, Richards was so good, he made the lead sound like two battling guitars. All these years I assumed it was Mick Taylor who did join the band on other "Let it Bleed" songs. Wrong all these years. Guess I was confusing the Richards/Taylor intro and leads on "Can't you hear me knocking" from Sticky Fingers.

Guess this old rocker is losing it. Thanks for the correction.

After hearing the re-mix on the movie, I was amazed how much better it sounded than the original back in 1966.

The cello and strings intro is more impressive, Wyman's bass runs are more prominent to work with Richards rhythm. The female choir is louder. And later strings sound beautiful. Maybe me, but I think I keep hearing some lite brass. Interesting they don't brink up Jaggers voice or Watts drums by much.

It's call Out of Time (instrumental) or (strings version). It is on the Stones Metamorphosis album. The exact same re-mix as in the movie. I think it's what Jagger and Richards had in mind all along. Do yourself a favor and buy it. It also has a cool re-mix to Heart of Stone.

I believe her haunting intro overlaying with Richard's guitar is the best rock intro ever.
