When RATE of inflation is easing it means things are still getting more expensive, just at a slower rate.
Not including the costs of all energy or foods makes those numbers moot to the common citizen, since those are the things we all deal with every day.
yup... the massive price hikes over the past year are not going anywhere.. just the rate of even more inflation is slowing. But nothing is reversing.
