Being that this occurred in California, I was afraid that this might happen. IMHO the shoplifter got what was coming to him.

The shopper claimed to have a gun ... if I’m not mistaken ...
so .. sounds like the shop keeper was in fear for his life as long as the shopper was wiggling around ..
good beat down if you ask me.

The Sikh convenience store clerk who beat the piss out of a shoplifter with a stick in is under investigation from Stockton, California police for assault.
Any honest person who wants to work for a living should flee California.

Since the LAW is not on the side of the store owner, nothing can be done but allow the Law of the Wild West take over. The store owner was within his rights. If I was on a jury, we would walk free.

The police do nothing except arrest the good citizens who fight back. Politicians WANT you to feel helpless so you will beg them to take your rights away to make you “safe”. They hate it when citizens refuse to be victims.
