If Trump had actually done that (fire his staff midway when he first ran for POTUS)
his first term wouldn’t have been such a catastrophe
and would still be president right now.

Perhaps a devise revise and amend on your part would be in order.

I believe your intent was to have the impetus placed on staff changes during 45's term in office instead of during his initial run for office...
