Not the case in my Mississippi Catholic Church, but if you want to be harangued about global warming and environmentalism I have a few Jesuit run Catholic Churches in NOLA I can direct you to. Further on the down side my own rather conservative RC church hosts a weekly “youth mass” where the average age looks to be in the mid seventies.
Churches are in trouble and I don’t see any sign that the situation will improve in either the RC church or mainstream Protestant denominations. A God who makes demands on people just is not cool these days. His job is to sit in heaven and wait to answer the phone when poor decision making fouls things up.

I just wondered if a general Sunday morning message suggestion had gone out to pastors of Baptist churches this week that included an endorsement of Disney, or if this was an isolated incident.
