I really thought I must be mis-reading the headline.
Well now, that IS what the article is about!
So many of “guardrails” meant to guide and buffer a polite society are being ignored or ripped away.
Hedonism or “anything goes” themes are taking the places of guardrails and inhibitions.
There is a push to promote more self centered behavior anyplace, anytime and in front of anyone.
The individual is supreme, a law unto himself. Social cohesion is dissolving, and autonomous individualism reigns. The world is truly going to hell in a handbasket.
We must pray and trust in God during these dire times. He will eventually set things right again.
