I wonder if downtown Chattanooga is unsafe as the downtown of many of America’s big cities? If so, why schedule an event there?
Unfortunately, its turning into an Eastern version of Memphis. It used to be a vibrant, family-friendly city with a great outdoor atmosphere. I considered retiring there.
Market has a lot of great places to eat downtown but it gets really shady a couple of blocks over.
This looks to be a block away from the Read House which is a convention center and a couple blocks from the Marriot and the main convention center for Chattanooga. Right off the MLK BLVD.
