America's economy and safety require a world more or less at peace, not one riven with the designs of empire builders and religious fanatics. We either create one, or starve and eventually die in obscurity.
Choose wisely.
A patriot would say "to hell with that. The USA can be and should be almost COMPLETELY self sufficent in everything it needs."
We may need to import oil and some exotic fruit but that is about it.
The North American continent has a relatively small population with ample agricultural land to grow food, forests to provide shelter, oil, gas and coal to provide energy, fiber to make clothing, and resources to provide for our defense.
We’ll be fine so long as we don’t foolishly waste everything trying to dominate the rest of the world.

The Japanese say BUILD WHERE YOU SELL. That is why the 3 largest Toyota facilities in the world are in the USA. Look for more of the same. The US is the largest producer of food and fuel in the World and the Largest market. The US is the low cost manufacturer for high end products and for design. Mexico is the low cost manufacturer for low end products and for assembly.
CO-LOCATION. Manufacture, Assemble and Sell in North America. The 21st Century will be the North America Century.
