As I recall, there was just one autopsy.

There was definitely a great deal of court room testimony about the accuracy and interpretation of the data from the official autopsy.

The death certificate presented in court also has three obvious errors.

The errors are so obvious, it is my opinion that the Medical Examiner made the errors deliberately, so Chauvin could get a new trial on appeal.

I have contacted two lawyers associated with the case, but neither responded.

One seriously complicating issue - Chauvin pleaded guilty to a federal charge of violating George Floyd's civil rights.

In exchange for the guilty plea, Chauvin's federal sentence runs concurrently with his state sentence, and Chauvin gets to serve his time in a federal prison, which is typically much safer and much more comfortable than state prison.

Trying to undue a guilty plea - which is sworn under oath - is very difficult and time consuming.

There was the original that garnered little attention. The family then commissioned a second one which became the one the media focused on. I remember the 1st one distinctly. It may not have been called an autopsy but a coroner’s report.

I argued the fact that he died oof an od using the original autopsy results with many people including several freezers who were convinced Chauvin was a bad cop. He did nothing wrong.
