They have a fair number of fatal bear attacks. It appears they have more fatal black bear and polar bear attacks than the USA.
Not a lot of polar bears in the lower 48. I have not seen one in years and years here in Texas or Oklahoma. I hear there have been a few seen in Arkansas and Louisiana though.
