These days I often listen to music, Rob Carson or nothing between noon and 3pm.
I like Boston-based Howie-Carr from 3-6pm. I listen to local WTIC 1080 AM talk show hosts on and off. (50,000 watt radio station based in Hartford, CT - used to be the big Rush station in CT)
Podcasts are all the rage now, and some are OK. There's nothing like live radio though, with the host reacting to live breaking news. Nobody did it better than Rush.
