Good comment. They do look like country club boys and girls. I know because I grew up going to a country club. All my old friends, with one exception, are Democrats.
When I was 18, I worked for a famous photographer at the Dem national convention and four years later at the Repub convention. The Dems were the ones who were wealthy and dressed in expensive, designer clothes while the Republicans were. for the most part, ordinary middle-class citizens.
