I used to be a Democrat. Now I am a Republican. I am under no illusions that the GOP is flawless. It’s just better than Democrat. Why can’t people believe that it is possible to change parties without being a spy or something? The paranoia is galling to me. If we ever want to grow as a movement of grassroots conservatism (as I do) we have to start putting our best foot forward. And stop assuming that people can’t grow. Trump was a Democrat before he wasn’t.
