He has already tried to prevent Trump from defending himself in the public forum. No he was evidence that the government he represents was directly involved in and instigated much of the actions on Jan 6.
You're right. He did try to prevent Trump from defending himself publicly. Now he wants to limit how Trump can defend himself in court.
It is a shame that we do not have republican "leaders" speaking publicly, eloquently, and frequently about this tyranny from the democrats and their functionaries in our institutions.
