This seems contradictory. Either it is irrelevant, or is a lie. If it is a lie, than I don't think it is irrelevant. It's just untrue. If it is irrelevant, does that not imply that it is true? Nevertheless, an accused man should be given every latitude to defend himself. Smith seems eager to stifle any defense from Trump. Doesn't seem like the actions of a prosecutor who has such 'sprawling evidence' against President Trump.
