Is Saudi Arabia Constructing Future Babylon?
Citizen Watch Report ^ | Chris Black

Posted on 12/30/2023 1:22:51 PM PST by davikkm

When I first read about Neom in October 2017, it was a crazy, whacked-out idea for a pop-up city in the desert of Saudi Arabia.

When completed, it will be 33 times the size of New York City.

Today, Saudi officials say it is 20% completed, and this video proves it.

Should be plenty of room for the entire populations of Gaza and the West Bank.

Caging humanity in a 15-minute wall?

What’s not to root for?

Is there water? Power? Food? A reason people would want to live there?

Wouldn't be the first time a city was built in the middle of nowhere. There's one in China right now with no one living in it. They find them in the jungle, totally overgrown.

The Saudis can afford to pay them to study the Koran.

The Saudi’s are preparing for a post-oil future. Building up infrastructure while they can afford to do it is an investment in their future.

It will make for some interesting ruins after it all falls apart.

I noted that the video referred to ‘renewable energy’ several times, but never specified what it was, other than it being carbon neutral.

I wonder what it will look like in a thousand years: ruins or thriving.

I’ve followed this project for a while. B1M has a great video on the project.

Is it for me? No. But for SA it may work just fine.

The line thing is novel but I would think a spoke and hub design would be efficient and/or go with a ring. Easier to get around in a more compact layout.

Neom (otherwise known as "the line") sounds like a prison to me.

But, perfectly suited for an "END TIMES" city that the elites would love to corral their subjects in.

The railroad can go from one end to the other (176 Kilometers) in 20 minutes....

HOWEVER

It is the only way to travel. There are no roads. A city 176 K long and 200 meters wide. So what about railway stops? If each stop is 2 kilometers apart that is 88 stops. Say they stop for 3 minutes at each stop to board or depart...

It won’t happen in 20 minutes.

Are you sure they are not building future “buggy factories”? Out of date before it is used.

33 times the size of NY. They are already running into water shortages.
