It wasn’t a spy balloon. It was a monitoring balloon much like the ones that students and researchers in the US would use. However, it was a new model that was larger, carried more equipment, and could be navigated by changing it’s altitude (to catch a favorable wind).

Everyone says it was owned/ran by the Chinese Govt. By the CCCP. By the Military. All TRUE. All things in Red China are owned and ran by those three, which are really just one thing.

But that doesn’t prove that this balloon was planned to go over the US and ‘spy’. We and they have satellites that can do this. What satellites can’t do is sample the ‘air’ at different elevations, for instance.

The reason this balloon was noticed was because the Chinese had lost control of the craft. Whether due to inability to communicate or failure of physical equipment used to ‘navigate’ we are not sure of. We do know they used the internet to communicate (or try to communicate) with it, but it failed to regain the ability to ‘navigate’.

The Chinese were concerned about the craft passing over the US while not under control. They notified the US. They didn’t have to, we already were monitoring it.

The problem was it interfering with aviation traffic or causing a crash. That’s why we have the FAA and their computer center. It was decided to let it go and monitor it’s position, while having the FAA route traffic past it.

It was not a big deal until the balloon had descended enough to be visible to aircraft passengers. A balloon at a much higher altitude is almost impossible for anyone to see.

But this one, out of control, became easily visible. When is got to the East Coast, it was decided to spill it because (1) it wouldn’t cause damage being over the ocean and (2) it would be out of domestic radar monitoring range heading off away from land.

The Chinese agreed and so it was spilled.

What the NEWS told us about the event is propaganda designed to cover for the WH looking like they were idiots when the real truth would have been the right thing to disclose. But they didn’t believe that the public would accept the truth. (and they were correct)

To paraphrase the Bible, In order to appear wise, they became liars and fools.

As I posted at the time, the White Hospice attempting to inflate / conflate weather balloons with the actual Chinese spy dirigible, so as to put one over on the average Democrat low-information voter was ... hilarious.

You cannot do comprehensive ground-radar penetration overhead from a low-earth orbit [LEO], even if you are at the necessary angle. But you sure as shit can do it from 60,000 feet, and map which Minuteman silos are full and which are empty.

Meanwhile, of course, it turns out that Silly Milley's Military had tracked that Chinese balloon from takeoff at the PLA balloon farm on Hainan Island and decided to permit it to ground-radar our Minuteman silos and scoop TikTok-transferred data from our Minuteman staff. And then knock it down once the packet blast to Beijing was completed.

It's time for reciprocation, and by that, I mean the tungsten rods "Hammer Of The Gods" stored in orbit, right down on the Forbidden Kingdom.

I am just done with these godless confucian communist scum who should be swimming in radioactive glass.
