President Joe Biden spent a week vacationing in the U.S. Virgin Islands, staying at the luxurious St. Croix villa of Bill and Connie Neville – tech and business moguls with interests in national media, foreign yacht sales, and venture capital investing. Online rental listings for their tropical villa indicate vacationers have paid between $700 and $900 a night to stay at the secluded beachfront property. The Biden family has vacationed there a number of times, dating back to Biden’s Vice Presidency. Last year, He spent last New Years at the island ‘free-of-charge’ too. The White House defended the gift, stating: “As they have done previously, the President and the First Lady are staying at the home of their friends Bill and Connie Neville.”
Bill Neville is the founder of US Viking, LLC, a software company whose main product is a ENPS – a software marketed by the Associated Press as “transforming the way media companies plan, manage and produce compelling news stories.” While US Viking, LLC doesn’t appear to have a website, the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority states the company’s ENPS software is used by ” journalists in more than 800 newsrooms in over 60 countries, including ESPN and the BBC.”
