Ray Epps, the only January 6 protester who actually told people to go into the Capitol, has been officially sentenced to one year probation.

Alright, the Attorney General said that they were going to start to prosecute people who were outside of the Capital on J6 but didn't commit violence, and didn't enter the Capital.

With this sentencing of Epps, who also didn't enter the Capital and didn't commit any violence, they have now set the sentencing precedence for this class of violation.

If normal J6ers get years of prison time, then they have grounds for appeal based on the equal protection clause.
