"Why does the Army have a wrestling star when they are struggling to fully man their units. Seems like a waste of tax payer dollars." The Army has a world class band too. You can't just sign up. You have to audition. Many members of the band have a masters or doctorate degree, and the Army has sent some of them to the Juilliard School of Music.

That reminds me, there was a drummer kid in my high skool band who ended up in the Army band. He was really good. Wonder what ever happened to him?
