The Biden Regime is now proposing a new natural gas tax.
Biden’s first order of business was to kill tens of thousands of jobs and cancel the Keystone XL pipeline.
Gas prices shot up immediately after Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline.
Since then, Biden has continued to wage a war on the ‘fossil fuel’ industry. He has also depleted the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
Now Biden is proposing new regulations and taxes on the fossil fuel industry.
“Under President Biden’s leadership, EPA is delivering on a comprehensive strategy to reduce wasteful methane emissions that endanger communities and fuel the climate crisis,” EPA Administrator Michael Regan said in a statement. “Today’s proposal, when finalized, will support a complementary set of technology standards and historic resources from the Inflation Reduction Act, to incentivize industry innovation and prompt action.”
“We are laser-focused on working collectively with companies, states and communities to ensure that America leads in deploying technologies and innovations that aid in the development of a clean energy economy,” he continued.

The Biden administration unveiled a new regulatory proposal Friday that would introduce a new tax on the fossil fuel industry, punishing producers that exceed a certain level of methane emissions.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which spearheaded the proposal, said it will help “tackle wasteful methane emissions” from the oil and gas sector, encouraging facilities with the highest emissions levels to meet or exceed higher levels of performance. The proposed rules would create the so-called Waste Emissions Charge, which begins at $900 per metric ton of wasteful emissions in 2024, and increases to $1,200 for 2025 and $1,500 for 2026 and beyond.
And this is how you get around the courts wanting to thwart the Biden administration trying to shut down natural gas appliances.

Looks like the EPA, along with the other alphabet agencies, is crying out for eradication as it's "duties" are, like education, properly in the realms of individual states. Exceptions of intervention only allowed where resources are shared (ex: long rivers).
Yes, the EPA is an agency that desperately needs a budget of $0. If it is too difficult to eliminate the agency, then slash its budget with zeal.

I liked Nixon’s public persona. However, taking the US off the gold standard and creating the EPA were mistakes. I will grant that he is not directly responsible for the actions of his successors. The same could be said of GW Bush and the Patriot Act.
We have to learn that if we crack the door to evil, the Democrats will push their way through. It’s like being in a jet at altitude and cracking the door open a little bit, or in a submarine and cracking an external door open, just a little. Oh yes, let’s allow mail-in ballots because people are concerned about waiting in line and getting the flu.
I have been inside the EPA a couple of times and am here to tell you that it is full of libtards that hate people. Plan accordingly to be oppressed into poverty.

Nixon was very good as Presidents go, exceedingly talented at managing and caretaking the public's trust. Faith in other's advice and allowing others to go unsupervised led to him having to step down.
He's villainized over Watergate when his staffers minimized his awareness of it while JFK is still lauded a hero while actively involved in the failed Bay of Pigs fiasco that led to so many unnecessary deaths - and a major geo-national blunder that should have eradicated that Communist threat STILL on our doorstep.
But looking at all of America's traditional enemies have had to resort to reshaping their failed ideologies to some form of capitalism to survive in the modern world I'd say America won - except for these Demoncrat ass-hats striving so hard to snatch failure from the jaws of victory.
