It would appear that he is in fact that dumb, and to be fair about it someone (TurtleMan, that would be) has made HIM an offer he can't refuse and HE doesn't want to be killed - like Georgia Governor Kemp's future son in law, as a possible example, who was blown to smithereens out on the freeway driving his car during the 2020 election.
