2 things 1. Putin has now done more actual American press interviews than Biden. 2. If Biden were to have a press question, maybe someone will ask why he is not speaking with Putin.

NOTE: I am against our backing Ukraine, IMHO both sides are run by kleptocracies, and Putin rightly thinks the West will eventually get tired an let him have Ukraine, since we didn't do anything when he took the Crimea.

Donbas is majority Ukrainian. Even those Russians who do live there now came relatively recent. Crimea has had a Russian majority only since Stalin, when he expelled the Tartars and replaced them with Russians. So no, Mr. Putin, these territories are not historically Russian. As for Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, these have such a large Ukrainian majority that any Russian claim over them is laughable. But there are some fools who do accept Putin’s propaganda.

Regardless, the Russian responses resonated with me. Good humor, good jabs at some Americans that need to be jabbed, and a fair amount of truth telling.

He lost me on Ukraine but he is much much smarter than most politicians. Unbelievable that xiden has not once spoken to the man. The Russian line on so many things sounds the same as Khrushchev's. We do agree completely on two things, football and Taylor Swift.
