That’s because its “science” /s. No its NOT. Its “guess work” pipe dreams and wet dreams all in one.
They are looking “billions and billions” of light years into space and make determinations as to just about everything!
Astronomy is a nice HOBBY! Its NOT “science”.

I’m surprised that Space.com’s proofreaders missed this- the Orion Nebula is M42, not M45. The Pleiades are M45.
