Like major motor vehicle manufacturers trying to switch to EV’s. How’d that work out for them?

Well, they partly killed the ICE vehicle manufacturing. I suspect the same may happen to beef/poultry/pork production. They'll start by having of it at much higher prices.

And regarding prices. We just share a beef with a friend when we need more. And the total average price is around $4 a lb. There is an amazing butcher in this area that cuts mind bogglingly good steaks. One of the perks of living rural.😁
