If this isn't satire then the statements made by the Judge are staggering in their implications.

1. A District Attorney can get on the stand and openly commit perjury, but it's ok because only the DA can file charges. So, a perjuring DA gets a pass.

2. A person can openly lie but if the DA doesn't want to file charges, that's ok too.

By those standards, how can people in Fulton County ever trust in the concept of blind justice again? What if there is a pattern of lies by the DA and/or her witnesses which sends people to prison for lengthy sentences, or gets them the death penalty? Well, it's ok I guess, as long as the DA does it.

If the voters don't toss both these jackasses out then they should never expect fair trials.

Also she gave testimony that undermined the credibility of cell phone location tracking data, which is used to put people in prison all the time.

And don’t forget, there is now bad blood between Fani and the Cobb County DA’s office.

The voters in Fulton County are overwhelmingly Democrat and so they're not interested in blind justice. They want the legal system to go after their political opponents.
