PING!
You think that picture would have struck fear in the heart of Hitler?
Looks like group of slobs created by wokeness.
Holy carp! Round Boy’s got the belt on so he won’t explode.
Looks like of photo of how NOT to “march”. Also looks like they might be some sort of high school ROTC-type group, not Bloke (British) military. They can’t even line up correctly with a mixture of very tall and very short mixed next to one another.
But if you ever get a chance to see the Red Arrows, take it!
I’ve seen high school marching bands give a far better performance and certainly with more energy. In my college marching band were had to be able to do a 221/2” step blindfolded to give a precise 8 steps to 5 yards on the field while playing our instruments. Granted precision marching doesn’t make an effective fighting force, but does show discipline and esprit de corps that would appear very lacking especially in the Belgian unit.
Laugh of the day!

If you think marching has gotten bad, try listening to your typical college band.
Let’s be fair....I’m sure they all probably go to a gym.
The problem is that their favorite workout machine is likely to be the vending machine.
Have them march across a bridge....
Uh...those people aren’t “British”.
So that might be part of the problem...the south Nairobi high school marching band may have a problem, but an actual regiment of the English army wouldn’t.
The whole idea of marching in formation by large groups of soldiers is a bit antiquated except for discipline and cohesiveness. I would much rather have soldiers who can ruck 70 lbs of gear and a rifle for 20-30 miles in small units.
Personally, if I were a Brit concerned with national security, I would not be worrying about how this bunch marched. My concern would be the obvious bunch of misfits found in their army. They look like a bunch of wokesters that would be afraid of their own shadows.
One thing I learned the first week in basic is a good soldier is a risk taker. This concept has been reinforced my entire life. These people are not risk takers.
Put them in combat and they will surrender in short order. Competing with the Belgians in marching is not the issue. Competing with the French in how fast they can surrender would be.
Those look like air cadets, not members of the armed forces. The cadets in the UK are basically scouts that are connected to the military.
Well, at least They are a very “Diverse” gaggle, are in Tip-Top physical shape, No?
Diversity is our strength!
IIRC, these are Air cadets (like our JROTC) parading last Remembrance Day in central London. A for effort, C for execution...
