~The Dragon Flies Lair III~

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guides
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Universe Rising

Out of the black ice
and grey dust
A universe rises
A place of serenity, peace,
Warmth, loving, trust and hope...

Sojourner solace
golden friendship and respect
a mist sounds of mystical music
creative forces endowed to us
perfection in an imperfect world
Blessed by twilight hours
of dusk meeting dawn
candles of ceremony lighted

In innocence of new and perfect
waiting in robed beauty
anxious but tattered in years
stained by shed tears of a million years
from a mud hens' haunts
to a Bird of Paradise plumage
of spectacular splendor
Universe Rising

Some Friends Are Truly Loyal

When darkness is found beneath the horizon
We desire twilight love...
Mocking the blinding moon laughing
over a nightmare.

friends

troubled and muddy waters
we waded through
the lies and betrayals weren't ours

we held steadfast together
and now we shine like the sun

we who could not be torn apart
by those who tried
we, the musketeers

LOL!

Updated :)

Good morning SAM

Did you hear the lonesome whippoorwill
He sounds too blue to fly
The midnight train is whining low
And I'm so lonesome I could cry

Did you ever see a night so long
When time goes crawling by
The moon just went behind a cloud
And I'm so lonesome I could cry

Did you ever see a robin weep
When leaves begin to die
That means he's lost the will to live
And I'm so lonesome I could cry

The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky
And as I wonder where you are
I'm so lonesome I could cry
Oh I'm so lonesome I could cry

I could cry
I could cry

Butterflies from My lovers kiss

Like a moonbeam, a flower, a life...

This butterfly was born
on lips of my lovers kiss

It grows restless and tired and craves new beginnings, often shedding its skin and forming anew.
It flutters and whispers and hums and sings softly to itself.
It exists only to make itself content as it spreads love.

It has touched many souls.
It has acted as much more than a mere muse, dancing about on flowers and whiskers and lovers murmurs.
It has grown and flourished and spread its pollen from flower to flower, lover to lover.

And while it not only acts for its own pleasure and gratification, it loves to share.
It likes to tell secrets, coo lovingly in one's ear, and converse until the wee hours, warm breath, soft thoughts, gentle touches.
It remains shy to strangers and yet is as open as any book.

It occasionally wanders through wondrous gardens of the minds, treading softly along twisting paths and frolicking in lush fields, listening to the sound of an imagined gentle breeze...

There it is, watch closely, feel it spreading love.. Just as it is doing now
