"I saw Richmond run a race one time where he hit a hurdle and fell. And he got up, got back in the race and finished second. That's the kind of stuff he is made of. And it's pretty symbolic. Hurdles may be there, but they're not insurmountable," says Richmond Flowers Sr. on ESPN Classic's SportsCentury series.

This headline an interesting one on ESPN website in light of Rush's comment. Content interesting but the "fastest white boy alive"...is it okay for white on white? Perhaps ESPN should bury this and apologize to Rush.

I don't know if he is white or not, but the fastest guy alive has to be the Dallas Cowboy who ran back Philadelphia's opening onside kick for a touchdown. His 37 yard run used up only three seconds of the clock.

There was a Richmond Flowers who played for the Dallas Cowboys. And he's a fast white guy. Randall Williams couldn't have set that record against a more deserving team, except maybe San Francisco or Washington.

Heh. Amen. The Phillie fans are the worst, the Redskins players rate DC #2, and SF just for the rivalry.
