I'll bet he's going to eat a lot of food tomorrow! He's a handsome young man and I'm sure he'll be glad to get home for some of his mom and grandma's home cooking!

I bet I have not told anyone here what happened to him.

Another player broke his jaw. His jaw is wired shut and he will not be able to eat only pureed food.

It was a deliberate act against my grandson, the kid was not punished.

Oh no! How terrible! I'm so sorry feather. I know hockey is rough and it is allowed to be "part of the game" but it does get out of hand. Was this during a game or practice?

It was during a game. A real nasty and painful thing to do to anyone. He has lost 15 pounds and, of course, he can't play.

I love watching him on the ice! When he gets back on I will go watch him play again. Woo Hoo!

Uh oh.
My Brother in law and I chanted at the TV once while watching a hockey game, "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
The two guys who intiially got into fisticuffs evidently heard us somehow and skated away from each other without further incident.
Of course, I don't watch hockey too much anymore.

Me, I might need to double strength my own coffee.
I'm helping to create a "Field Artillery Ping List".
*ugh*
Everyone asks the question, "I wasn't a gun bunny, but can I be on the list?"
The answer is "Of course!", 'cause artillery is equal opportunity tormentors, er.. employers.
Those of us on the gunline had helped cross train our FDC, and medics so that if some of us went down due to injury, they could lend a hand.
"just in case".
Heck, our LTC was out on the gunline one day, and we even kidnapped, err... forced, cajoled him onto the gunline as well.

So I'm here without benefit of my own coffee attempting to make a ping list that is legible, usable, and makes some sort of sense of coherence.
I think I took on a huge task, right?

Besides, you get to fire all the cool weapons. Makes it all worthwhile in the end!
