Deion, I imagine, is defending LT's coke lined Saturday nights with 100's of women... boomer is just jealous...
Just kidding... Deion is probably defending based on ethnical reasons.

Let me guess: Deion thinks there's nothing wrong with using crack, and Esiason doesn't?
To: GreatOne
Basically they were talking about LT's claims of rampant drug use in the NFL, using escort services to tire down opposing players, bounties being put on opposing team's players. Deion then degraded Boomer for the fact that his 12 year old didn't know what crack cocaine was.

I saw the exchange. It got pretty heated. For those who weren't watching, they played LT's interview where he talked about partying 24 hours, cocaine, crack, booze and whores. Deion was not defending LT, but did say he was accurately portraying life in the NFL. Sanders further said he didn't drink or do drugs because he'd seen what it did to his father. Boomer said that wasn't the NFL he played in, and Deion started saying that he and Marino knew that there were bounties paid for putting players out of the game, rampant drug use, whores sent to wear out opposing team players the night before a game, etc.

Both my son and I were about ready to throw something at the TV. I just couldn't believe Deion (who is reported to be a christian) would humiliate Boomer like that on national TV.

Ya know, I thought I heard and saw him mouth that. SO much for his testimony huh? PEople got upset about Limbaughs comment about McNabb, why don't someone fire Sander's butt for his comments today?

I will never forget his boorish behavior following the NFC championship game in Jan. of '96 (the Packers lost in Dallas.)
During the trophy presentation he got up and made a speech and used all kinds of foul language, on live television, with thousands of kids all over the country watching and HIS OWN CHILDREN standing right next to him. What a jerk.

Oh heavens! How dare he carry out his fatherly responsibilities. I knew what crack was at 12, enough to know I was not going to take any!

I didn't see anything today, but I saw a brief foreshadowing of it on Thursday. Esiason said that Taylor belonged in the Hall of Shame. Sanders laughed--as though Esiason were some kind of backward prude--but there was no time for his comments.
I agree with Esiason.
I am no longer much of a football fan. I rarely watch even a part of a game any more. The league has been taken over by trash-talkin', b*st*rd-breedin' tattooed hotdogs and showboats with no sense of sportsmanship. (Same with the NBA.)
NFL: National Felons League.

Yeah, kinda takes the honor out of the NFL when felons can get into the Hall of Shame huh?
