Unfortunately most of the jihadis who would attack us would probably also be killed during the commission of their act.

Other than that, carry whatever you have as long as it's reliable. It's not a bad idea to get in a habit of carrying some cash at all times too...I get to depend on my debit card and credit card but those may be worthless for awhile after a big attack.
