As a Cardinals fan, this does not bode well!

Yes, but don't you still feel like we "owe" him one?

If he wanted to win a World Series ring, he should have thought long and hard before chickening out in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series.
What he basically did was wait until the end of his career, then go out "shopping" for a team that was already a strong contender.

Let's see...6 World Series wins between the "2 losers." And how many WS has the Red Sox won in the last 90 years :-)?
Boy it's good to see yankees fume!!

Yup...loser he is. 2 WS rings, 300+ wins, will be #2 behind Nolan Ryan in Ks after this season...yup...quite a losing career.
Boy it's good seeing yankees whine.

Don't waste your breath arguing with guys like that. Some people will never understand that there is something more important than money. New Yorkers would never understand why Andy signed for less money so that he can play at home. Same reason they'll never understand why Clemens is coming back to pitch for his hometown team. Before either boys were Yankees or Red Sox or whatnot, they were Houstonians and Texans, enough said.
