Not to be a pain in the ass but it was Spanish actually.
Gomez called Morticia: Cara Mia, Querida, Querida Mia, Tish, Cara Bella. Except for Tish they all roughly translate to how beautiful she was :) and another Addams Family trivia factoid: Thing was played by Ted Cassidy's (Lurch's) hand. That doesn't mean that John Kerry isn't French looking, though.
