What is the line and over/under? I'm not exactly familiar with the terminology, but I know that New England is favored by 6.5 in most media outlets.

No way. How could the Patriots possibly score to that degree? Do you know something we don't know?

It will be close in the beginning. But once the Patriots (which I support) start scoring, the door will be wide open for much more scoring, just like the previous games the Patriots played ealier in the season.
I am suprised so far people on this thread have the panthers winning.

Both defenses are more or less equal. But I give Carolina a slight edge on offense. They have more balance.

With Tom Brady, I give the patriots a huge advantage. If I remember correctly, the pats beat 5 teams with large winning records during the season. He is also good under pressure and extremely accurate. In addition, even with injuries, the pats are able to withstand onslaught.

Bump.

I think it's gonna be another blowout.
New England will walk away with it.
Looks like another year where the only exciting thing will be the commercials.
And waiting for the start of Survivor: All Stars.

You're only looking at Patriot history . Carolina defense is tougher than Patriot offense, so unless they plan on knocking off some of the Panther's defense. . .

I think it's going to be a very close game indeed, mostly the Patriots haven't faced such a strong defense that the Panthers put up this year.
I can see the Panthers winning 20-17.

Patriots: 13
Panthers: 7
Commericals: 469

Carolina 20
New England 13
The team with the best defense and running game usually wins.
Carolina has them both.
Oh, BTW, Carolina has an explosive offense if they should need it.
To: yonif
I am suprised so far people on this thread have the panthers winning. You're making the same mistake the Colts, Cowboys, Eagles and Rams have made this season.
Panthers have better post-season stats.

I see a repeat of the last superbowl the pats were at where they showed the great defensive Rams how to get the job done :)
