Attaboy and attagirl Husky's!!!
didja notice how the local media raised the bar? It wasn't enough for the men to win it all - BOTH teams had to do it in order for them to be satisfied.
Channel 3 seemed almost dissapointed this morning. They blew up the vandalism all out of proportion.
Uconn: a class act.

I wouldn't be too proud over the wins due to the vandalism. Cheapens the wins.

when you consider other instances of vandalism in past wins by other teams, what happenned at Uconn was relatively minor - not to excuse it. For some reason (liberals HATE achievement), the media has harped upon this and made it their big story instead of the historic achievement made by Uconn.

A great achievement although I am disappointed.
sUConn has joined the list of teams that I wish would never win another game in anything!
For me they are right up there with the Yankees, Mets, Knicks, and Rangers.

rioting? what rioting? I saw one, maybe a couple sites where small bonfires (a Uconn tradition going back some time) were held, and some non students were arrested. compare that with other champoinship winners - relatively minor. what was major was the press attention given this mostly non-student, off campus behavior.

It is your choice to view this site as 'anti-Semitic or 'anti-Jewish.'
I posted this with a view to just something interesting.
I have no connection to this site, the information it contains nor have I had any personal involvement with the people listed who have changed their names.
If you wish to second guess their reasons for their name changes you would be better served by addressing them personally.
Vigilance is essential. 'Victimology' and 'Victocrat status' is optional.
Happy Passover to you.

My sincere apologies for the above post. It is on the wrong thread. My accident.
Re:Ucon rioting. It was widely shown on network and cable news. Crowds were quite large and at least 6 vehicles were shown burning.

Oh, also, Congratulation to both teams. Great Job and I wish them great success next year.

Yeah, getting drunk, turning over cars, and setting things on fire is really a classy move.

Property owners were still cleaning up on Saturday. That doesn't sound "relatively minor" to me. To their credit, the rioters didn't kill anybody (oh well, there's always next year).
