Does anyone know where we can actually see the memo?

My own preference would be to see the actial document. Druge has a page of it up, but I'd like the rest, and not the redactions from the partisan press, which don't give the feel of the piece.
Does anyone know where it's posted, maybe a PDF file?

Thank you. The information that comes here so quickly to any question really does make this the best site on the 'Net. Amazing!

Those are not press redactions.

If there's anything in that PDB that the president could have taken further action on at the time, it escapes me.
The fact that President Bush asked for this information is further indication that he was on top on things.

Thank you. I know the black-outs are not press redactions, what I didn't want was the form of the presentation in the newspapers, with ellipses or dashes marking the spot. You don't get the feel of what was left out. The change of format from the original makes the omissions redactions.
Looking at the original, I thought it would be interesting to view the matter under a different paradign: if you were a businessman, would you build or move a factory, or start a new line of business, if your subordinates gave you this? Could you even finance a new idea if this was your business plan? (All I can envision is The Donald saying, "You're fired!")
Hell, I work in gommint, and I couldn't draw a bill using this!
The sad thing--the really sad thing--is how amateurish a product the intelligence services created in response to a direct presidential question. I'm left to wonder how many high-level decisions have been made on the basis of such low-quality intelligence.
I want to end this missive by again prasing my fellow Freepers: unbelievable, the quality of what this site produces and the speed with which it produces it.

Great document to improve your 20/20 hindsight.
No specifics, no dates, not anything that could have helped to avert the 911 atrocities. To change the effectivness of CIA, FBI and other agencies takes years, and the previous adminstration (and the Congress) had made ceratain that there was no time available.

This is probably a scanned image that wasn't OCR'd for obvious reasons. As a government employee you understand the nuance of how many filters this information goes through before it reaches the President. That is the most damning thing about this PDB.

Clandestine, foreIgn government, and media reports indicate Bin Ladin since 1997' has wanted to conduct terroristNow wait just a minute!!! Media reports!!!
Who's holding the media's feet to the fire over this. The media organizations have some of the smartest people employed (snicker) and they did not see the attacks coming.
Dan, Peter and all the big media boys need to go before the 9/11 committee to feret out their complicities
