Tempe, Arizona - April 13, 2004 - Amazing Grace Christian Store of Tempe, Arizona is just one of the many Christian stores across the nation reporting sales increases and heavy foot traffic since the release of 'The Passion of the Christ'.

Sam Bailey, music buyer and a manager of Amazing Grace in Tempe, said Passion related items accounted for over 5% of the stores total revenue dollars in March. "Those are significant numbers; demand for the soundtrack alone increased over 800% ," Bailey said.

Bailey stated that there continues to be steady demand for the Passion soundtrack and that general foot traffic in the store has increased upwards of 10% from their expected seasonal traffic. Demand is also up for Passion related study materials and books to help people "reconnect" with God.

From the stores ministry point of view the movie has garnered many witness/discussion opportunities for sales staff. "Seekers" feel comfortable to come in and ask questions.

"On almost a daily basis we continue to hear positive testimonies on how the movie has impacted the customers, their family, friends and co-workers," said Bailey.
