Freepers: Last year I purchased the film by the two French guys, "9/11," which is the only video of the plane hitting the WTC Tower 1.
In trying to get matierals for my college classes, I'd like to show my students the second impact, which was in many ways more horrifying because the cameras were all trained on the building. Where can I buy or otherwise obtain that video, since the networks have done their best to conceal it from people?

I think there are several different shots of the second impact in the HBO special "9/11 - In Memoriam", which you can get on DVD or VHS.

The day after (9/12), I popped a tape into the VCR and recorded CNN for 2 solid hours. Got many images of the plane hitting the second tower. I know there is one, maybe two short clips of the plane hitting the first tower but I don't have either. Sure would like them.

You can get the only video of the plane hitting the first tower in the video, "9/11" No subtitle. You can find it on Barnes & Noble.

Most news services have a service to sell tape. CNN Image Source is good. Ainie Hastings there is a big help.

Remember, you only want it for personal use, not to rebroadcast," :~) " because price is changable according to use.
BTW, great source for non-news driven materiel is Campus Crusade for Christ in Orlando. They have tens of thousands of hours of "travelogue" type footage from around the world.

Try this Documentary if you can find it in the video store.
My Brother-in-law was in this video and it might have both planes.

Speech
Robert David Port: You did it Joe. On September 11th, Detective Joseph Vigiano and his brother John made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. You all have honored them with this trophy. Thank you, Maury Povich, for everything. Thank you, Peter Jankowski, for your vision. Thank you, Alan Berger, for your guidance. And to my wife Lisa and son Dylan, thank you for your love and support.
Bill Guttentag: I'd also like to thank some of the others who helped make this film. Dick Wolf, Lisa and Charles Engel, Dan Sturman, Kate Adler, Phil Marshall, Michael Schweitzer. No matter where you're from, we're all New Yorkers. Thank you very much.

Now if you are looking for a commercially available video, you might try a local Target store if you have one in your area. In the Austin, TX area, some have what they call "Dollar Spots" and recently have had both CNN Road to Iraq and 9/11: America Remembers for $1 each.
Granted it's CNN produced stuff, but there was video on both events that I had never seen.

Forgot to mention that they are DVDs.
