Over the last several days I've been having technical problems with FR and I'm curious if anyone else has been having similar problems. What has been happening is that on some threads and for a while there when view new posts at the root level of the forums the page would load to a certain extent and then stop only reload. When viewing the list of new posts it would vary from moment to moment what I would see as people would post. But invariably I would only be able to see so far down the page or hardly any of the page at all.
For a while there the site was totally unusable for me but now it seems to be fine. However, some of the threads are still problematic.

This happens to me all the time also but I think it's because I've started wearing my mother's old bi-focals -- and my neck is so sore from going up and down.

along that lines - I went through and deleted my cookies, purged my cache, cleared my history, shut down my browswer, rebooted my PC, scanned for virii, shut down my fire wall and much more... it was really bothersome because I could not get my FR fix.
No I must return to eating my bicuits and gravy and bacon... mmmmm

mmmmmm... the bacon was good too. :-) One of the joys of being self (un)-employed.
It's been an ongoing problem for at least a year. It doesn't happen very often, and every thread that acted up eventually did load, even if you had to wait and retry after an hour or so.
(It happens either with Mozilla or IE, so it's something on the site giving the problem).
Ha! It was Cyber Sitter! I turned it off and it stopped screwing things up.

A few times when I've hit search I've gotten a forbidden HTML result. And yes, i am logged in.
Generally just trying it again a few times does the trick. Never seen this happen before today though.
