I agree that FR is not what it used to be. Your post is but one example.
Free Republic is a lot like TV, you can ignore the threads (like channels) that don't interest you.
Free Republic use to have higher standards for what was posted. The fact is, I can speak out in opposition to trash that belongs in the toilet, bucko-boy and not on a serious political website that promotes conservatism.
