I'm not seeing it because I've got a friend who wants to go with me and she couldn't get away last weekend. There's no comparison with someone who can't rent a video... or download a codec.... ;-)

That part was in the preview, so I don't feel guilty talking about that part :) Yeah, that was pretty funny. I also liked the "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" mini-video :)

Jen's been busy getting ready to move. In my case it is difficult to juggle movies that are appropriate for our children...ages 4, 14 and 74...

I never read the "Marvels" graphic novel--what's that about?

"Marvels" was a four issue limited series written by Kurt Busiek and drawn by Alex Ross. It's been collected in graphic novel format. The premise is an ordinary man's view of Marvel history, from its start in the 40s through the 60s. The "ordinary guy" in this case is a news photographer who makes a name for himself from his photos of what he calls the "Marvels", the superheroes of the Marvel Universe. Great story, and great art, IMHO!

Nah, it's only been a few months that Jen and Rosie have been teasing me about not seeing it :)

I haven't seen it yet, either.

My excuse is that it's much cheaper to rent a move for three bucks - and where everyone can watch on the same "ticket" - than to pay six bucks or more at the theater, per person.

I'd still like to see it, though...the first one wasn't absolutely fantastic (few movies rate that in my mind), but it was entertaining, and everyone says this one is better.
