Its good he burned to death--he's going to need to get used to hot things where he's going. Prayers to the family of these poor confused and innocent people who were his victims. May Satan find a punishment for this beast.
Taken out of context. The whole sentence makes it clear that SHE survived 9 hours. Further down:

You need to re-read the whole sentence. It was not the man who survived nine hours it was the women. She had recently filed an assault complaint against the man.

The woman survived for nine hours, not the perp. He was dead at the scene.
This is a tragedy for all involved, but I just have to say... 18 years old and 3 kids? Involved with a 24-y/o deranged lunatic? Damn.
