Recent polls show Nevada pretty evenly divided, democrat convention begins tomorrow, 60 Minutes reruns piece on Yucca Mountain.

$710.96... The price of freedom.
It ebbs, it flows; it has one of the most transient populations in the country.
It basically reflects the political composition of the nation in general.
It leaned Republican in the 80s, it leaned Democratic in the 90s, and today it's split right down the middle.
No mystery here.
Yucca Mtn is a big issue here...costing Bush votes. But it's a bi-partisan issue in Nevada. Neither side supports it. Bush layed an egg with that one.
