Someone good at searching can provide the dates to prove it. I am very surprised this is not out by now.

Kerry supposedly got a military discharge in 1978?? Is this right??

Vietnam war ended in 1973??

Kerry goes to Paris, France Peace talks with North Vetnam ambassadors after his testimony to congress (on hearsay) in 1971.

So was Kerry officially still in navy reserves when he went to Paris??

Unless Kerry is hiding another discharge form (and if
so, why), it's well known that he was a USNR Officer
(inactive) during his illegal negotiations with the
North Vietnamese.

It's generally thought that proposing legal action is
not a productive use of effort, but that hasn't
stopped Judicial Watch from starting to make noise
along those lines.
