You think this is bad? I work for a California county, and I think some people in it have only one mission in life: to make up acronyms; sometimes, acronyms for acronyms. My mission in life is to interrupt and ask for the meaning even if I already know. These people are so dedicated that they stay awake nights dreaming this stuff up.
I know what you mean. I took a Psychology major in undergrad and the jargon was enough to make you go blind.
