VANITY: I Wonder If "Undecideds" Are Going For Bush Because Nobody Wants A Repeat of 2000?
PURE VANITY ON MY PART | 9/20/2004 | Lurking2Long

It just occurred to me that the obvious polarization of this particular electorate is due to events that happened after 2000...Al Gore's rantings, the Florida Sumpreme Court's antics, and the uncomfortable reality of having the world's greatest (and only) superpower teetering on the brink of a potential Consitutional crisis?

Given Bush's energized base, I think this has lead undecideds to pick the candidate with the obvious momentum in the polls.

Freeper thoughts?

Pat Cadell has said any number of times that in Presidential elections, contrary to what all the other talking-heads say - undecideds break for the incumbent - they go with the 'safe choice' - and he (Cadell) has been somewhat animated, if not p*ssed at the bleating boobs who try to say that undecideds break for the challenger.

Yeah, I suppose that is the driving factor...makes sense.

I think too that people got a GOOD HARD LOOK at what self-serving idiots Dems were in 2000, and it also left a very bad taste in their mouth...

Looking at all the polls coming out today, Kerry's favorable rating seems lower than Bush's favorable rating, for most states including Michigan where Kerry leads Bush by 7 points. Seems strange to me!

I think the undecideds are going for Bush because they don't want a terrorist to blow them up.

I noticed that too. Don't know what to make of it, however.

Kerry is not a realistic option for the truly interested voter.
